The stylish Peppers Seminyak Bali

Stylish, boutique and elegant, that’s how I would describe Peppers Seminyak Bali (@peppersseminyak). This luxurious world class villa resort is located in the heart of Seminyak and is conveniently located within walking distance to designer boutiques and popular cafes and restaurants in the Seminyak area.

The Villa

We had the pleasure of staying in a 3-bedroom Presidential villa with our own private pool and outdoor cabana. The bedrooms were furnished with my favourite type of bed, a four-post bed with canopy! It was simply luxurious! Each bedroom also came with an outdoor bathroom which made it a tropical sanctuary.  Our villa also had a very spacious living room where we could relax during the day and a kitchen for convenience.

The Surroundings

The resort features a lovely main pool where guests are welcome to drop by for a swim. The pool is located near the lobby and the buggy service driven by hotel staff is a very convenient way to get around the resort. There is also a designer boutique at the resort which stocks some lovely local and Australian labels.

The Laneway Restaurant

We dined at the Laneway restaurant for breakfast each morning and the menu was simply delicious! I loved the way the menu was structured where we could order freshly cooked ‘a-la-carte’ dishes while the buffet served fresh tropical fruits, breads and juices. My favourite breakfast dish was the ‘mushroom and avacado’ toast which was very tasty indeed! I enjoyed having breakfast by the main pool in the resort, it was so relaxing with such amazing views. There is also an option to have breakfast in the villa if you choose to!

For dinner we had the pleasure of trying the 3-course dinner menu at the Laneway Restaurant. We had the pulled pork slider with Asian coleslaw as an appetizer and it was an outstanding dish – simply mouth-watering and full of flavour! For main, we tried the Balinese red duck curry with apple eggplant, kaffir lime leaves and rice and it was delicious with all the flavours I would expect in a curry. For dessert, churros (cinnamon doughnut) is an old favourite and it certainly was a winner! We enjoyed the dinner so much and rolled back to our villas as happy as ever!

The Spa

What a treat we had at The Spa! Voted by CNN Travel as one of Asia’s Top 10 Wellness Resorts (2014), The Spa at Peppers Seminyak proved why they deserved this accolade.

On entry, the spa has a very beautiful and relaxing lounge area where guests are served with water and refreshing teas. We were treated in the St Tropez rooms which was one of the loveliest treatment rooms I have ever seen in a spa with its tall and wooden teak interiors.

I had a very relaxing one-hour Balinese massage which used thumb pressure and movements to knead out all of my knots in my neck and back.  At the end of the treatment, I was treated to the most relaxing herbal flower bath which was truly a dream.

 Quality of Service

The service throughout our stay at this resort was truly outstanding. We were greeted by name and always with a smile on every occasion when we encountered the staff, from the front desk to the buggy service. It felt that staff truly enjoyed meeting and getting to know the guests. No request was too small or big for the staff and they responded to all requests at a very swift pace.

We enjoyed this luxuy villa resort stay tremendously and look forward to returning with family and friends in the future. Thank you so much for having us!
